The story behind the icon
It stands at Eje 4 Sur and Insurgentes, in the Condesa neighbourhood, and takes its name from one of the most important streets of that neighbourhood. Its icon represents the silhouette of the kingdom of León, Spain, from which the state of Nuevo León took its name and which forms part of that state's coat of arms.
