The story behind the icon
The same icon will be used as that of the Metro Collective Transport System.
Its name refers to the neighbourhood in which the station stands. At the beginning of the 19th century the site of the Escandón neighbourhood formed part of the Hacienda de la Condesa, which belonged to the Escandón family; its icon represents the town hall building that served the area in that period.
