The story behind the icon
This name was chosen because it is a great point of traffic in the area. The hospital stands on Avenida San Juan de Aragón. The La Villa General Hospital was built during the government of Adolfo López Mateos and began operating on 16 November 1964 under Dr Pedro Alegría Garza, becoming the first hospital in the north of the city. The hospital offers urgent and general medical services in the area of trauma and of the spine. The icon combines in an abstract way with the icon representing health.
