The story behind the icon
The station takes this name because Campus 1 of the Bachilleres Rosario college is nearby. The institution of the Colegio de Bachilleres was founded in 1973 by President Luis Echeverría Álvarez. Its creation sought to satisfy the existing demand for public and free education. This campus was the first, and began its activities on 2 January 1974. The station icon is a reinterpretation of the official logo of the Colegio de Bachilleres.
