The story behind the icon
The station takes its name from its position in the Casas Alemán neighbourhood.
The icon represents Fernando Casas Alemán (1905-1968), a Mexican politician who served as Governor of Veracruz from 1936 to 1940. His work at the head of the governorship was purely administrative but satisfactory, since he provided the legal instruments for academic instruction and granted another very important one with social content: the Tenancy Law.
