The station icon is a colt.
Potrero means: a place for breeding horses.
In the time of Porfirio Díaz the Peralvillo racecourse was built, and its animals were sent to the pastures lying further north of Mexico City, which is why that area is called Potrero, being the place set aside for breeding horses.
