The story behind the icon
The station image represents the four cardinal points, North, South, East and West, which together with another 28 intermediate ones make up what is called the compass rose.
Norte 45 station takes its name from the nearby avenue so called, which forms part of the Industrial Vallejo neighbourhood. In this neighbourhood the streets and avenues running horizontally bear the name of a direction (Norte), among them Norte 45, which begins at the Calzada Vallejo in the north and runs until it joins Ceylán street in the south; in the same way, the streets and avenues running perpendicular to those also bear the name of another direction (Poniente). That is why the symbol of this station is a compass rose, which is simply a circle with the 32 directions into which the whole turn of the horizon is divided marked around it, based on the four principal ones: north, south, east and west.
