The story behind the icon
Francisco Goitia is a station of the Light Rail. It was previously known as Xochimilco and was the terminus of the line, which is why it is so large. Its present name comes from a nearby street: Francisco Goitia, who was a painter from Zacatecas who lived in Xochimilco during his last years and died in this borough. The station logo represents a watercolour and a brush.
