The story behind the icon
It stands at the crossing of Insurgentes and Hamburgo, in the Juárez neighbourhood; the naming of the neighbourhood's streets uses the names of European cities, and it is to the name of the street that the station owes its own. Its icon is represented by the castle that appears on the flag and coat of arms of that German city and by the river Elbe, which crosses it.
