The story behind the icon
Situated at Xola, corner of Dr. Vértiz, it owes its name to the street near the station. Its icon represents the bust of Dr José María Vértiz, who was a prominent Mexican surgeon specialising in ophthalmology, which he studied in France during the second half of the 19th century.
