The story behind the icon

The station image represents the arches of the aqueduct from Chapultepec to Salto del Agua.

The colonial aqueduct of 904 arches and 3,908 km in length was built in 1779 along the Calzada de Belén and carried the water from Chapultepec to the fountain of Salto del Agua.

Seville is a province of Spain that in the past formed, with others, the kingdom of Andalusia. It has particular importance since at Sierpes street 52 stands the site where the prison once was in which Miguel de Cervantes wrote his famous Don Quixote de la Mancha.

It also has one of the most beautiful and truly attractive buildings, La Giralda, a cathedral built by the Moors between the years 1184 and 1196.
