The story behind the icon

It stands on Avenida Central and takes its name from its nearness to the hospital in the Las Américas development east of the station. Its symbol represents a cross, the symbol of hospitals, with an H in the centre.

Besides the regular (Ordinario) service, Line 3 (Chimalhuacán – Pantitlán) runs four Express services that skip stations: Express 1 (Acuitlapilco – Pantitlán, 13 stops, 37 min, daily), Express 2 (Chimalhuacán – Pantitlán, 8 stops, 40 min, Monday to Saturday), Express 3 (Rayito de Sol – Pantitlán, 8 stops, 22 min, Monday to Friday) and Express Rosa (Chimalhuacán – Pantitlán, 10 stops, 40 min, Monday to Saturday), which is for women only. They all use the same platforms as the regular service, so you can switch service at any shared station.
