The story behind the icon

It stands on Avenida Vía José López Portillo, corner of De la Cruz street. Its name comes from its nearness to the church of San Mateo Cuautepec and to the street that links that church with Avenida Vía José López Portillo, called De la Cruz; its symbol represents the silhouette of Saint Matthew with a cross behind him.
