The story behind the icon

The station icon represents three streams of water. The station takes its name from the nearby street so called, which forms part of the Ampliación Progreso Nacional neighbourhood.

To flood is the action of inundating or covering a place with water or any other liquid. This area will be irrigated by the waters of the Azcapotzalco river, the Tlalnepantla river and the Los Remedios river. Tres Anegas street is divided by the Los Remedios river; on the eastern side of the river it is a continuation of Pirámides de Egipto street in the Siete Maravillas neighbourhood, and on the western side of the river it reaches Eje 1 Poniente Vallejo.
