The story behind the icon
It stands on Insurgentes; the name comes from this station's nearness to the street of the same name. Its icon represents the silhouette of Doctor José Gálvez Ginachero, who during the Spanish Civil War saved the lives of citizens of both sides, often hiding them in his clinic and spending many hours in the antechamber of the Government to plead for the lives of prisoners.
