The station icon represents the word Churubusco, which is a place name of Nahuatl origin. It turned out to be the rough hispanicisation of Huitzilopochco, which derives from the words Huitzilopoch, left of the hummingbird, and the locative co. It is translated as in the place where they worship Huitzilopochtli.
