The story behind the icon
Its name refers to the neighbourhood in which the station stands.
The area, once conceived as an enormous sports zone, saw only the building of a football stadium and the Monumental Bullring; it is to the latter that the station icon alludes, since it is represented by the silhouette of a bull and a pair of banderillas.
