The story behind the icon
It stands at the crossing of Insurgentes and Campeche; it is to the name of the street that the station owes its own, and the street in turn is so called after the state of Campeche. Its icon represents the silhouette of the little watchtower of the fort of San José el Alto, in the city of Campeche.
