The story behind the icon
It stands on Eje 4 Sur. Antonio Maceo, from whom the station takes its name, was one of the most outstanding leaders of independence in the second half of the 19th century in Latin America. Its icon represents the bust of General Antonio Maceo y Grajales, a soldier of the Cuban revolution.
