The story behind the icon
The station icon represents the silhouette of a cannon used in the Battle of Puebla. The station takes its name from its position on Avenida Eje 3 Oriente, near 5 de Mayo street. On that day in 1862 the French general Charles Ferdinand Latrille, Count of Lorencez, attacked the city of Puebla.
