The story behind the icon
The station image represents a nopal from which its fruit, the xoconostle, emerges. A single pad was used to distinguish it from Bondojito station on Line 4.
Toponymy:
Nopalera alludes to the area where the land was originally used by pig and poultry farms, which were covered with nopales.
