The story behind the icon
The station image represents the profile of Hidalgo and Morelos. Hidalgo is regarded as the father of the fatherland and Morelos as the author of the second stage of the Independence, from 1811 to 1815.
Toponymy:
It alludes to the forerunners of the movement for Independence in New Spain and to the main cross-corridor west of the station.
