The station image is a wave of water in a canal.
Aculco is a Nahuatl name meaning place where the water turns. It is also a neighbourhood and an avenue in the east of the Federal District.
It is likewise a municipality in the north of the State of Mexico, on highway 55 Toluca-Palmillas, 104 kilometres from Mexico City; its climate is temperate sub-humid with rains in summer, it is inhabited by Otomí indigenous groups and is well known for the places it offers for mountaineering; its main activities are farming and stock-raising, manufacturing, transport and trade.
